Even the flowers fall, down with the sunlit leaves and debris.
From the nurturing soil, toward the nurturing sun,
We get past the fallen trees and tragically beautiful flowers by growing up and over them. They will nurture us all for generations yet to come. Even though we become separated we still hold each other in our hearts. The separation is an illusion. Just listen.
What do the voices of your dearly departed say to you? Who are the separated that encourage you to grow and become more of yourself? What long dead voices still ring true for you? What soil nurtures your roots? Where are you getting your brilliant sunlight? Where do you get your regular water?
Food and drink, for thought and nutrition, eat well and be well.

The Golden Orange sunset, moody and majestic it leaves us with a gradual explosion of color and inspires us to appreciate the present moment for its beauty and splendor. Each sunrise and sunset marks the median between our two well known daily time periods of night and day. And each time we spin around on this big ball shaped rock, we are treated again and again with wonders of light and the mysteries of midnight. A good vantage point, a few clouds and a rich sky full of shifting color is worth taking advantage of ever time the opportunity presents itself.
And now with the help of my friends at Zazzle, this golden scene will set forever!
We are surely a part of our natural surroundings. Serving as hosts for countless small organisms, our survival depends on the offerings and sacrifices of other forms of life. We are so deeply intertwined with everything else and on such a scale that even the atomic matter that makes up our bodies was once stardust and is now consciously reflecting on just that very idea of the universe’s self-awareness.
Those are the kind of ideas I’m trying to inspire with this piece called “We Exist In Nature.” Made in 2000 it still serves as one of my favorite early ventures into digital collage. It speaks to me of planetary harmony and separate paths to the centered enlightenment of diverse interconnectedness. What does this image say to you? Leave a comment below, share with friends.
Edit: And now you can get it on a card, mouse pad or why not even an iphone4 case thanks to Zazzle! 😀
Add your own quote, note, or what ever floats your boat to the inside and give it as a gift or a thank you.
Yes, I even slapped it on an iphone case. It was fun!
You should be able to put the design on other things they offer too. We are living in the future! Enjoy and be well!
After the success of my first collaboration with Zazzle, I’m following it up with an original design featuring two wide format photographs on white canvas which serves as a background and border for the two images which combine in an equal sign layout. I am inspired to keep working with Zazzle to create an online storefront featuring their products with my imagery. The possibilities are endless and they take care of all the production and shipping! 😀
Please feel free to comment below to tell me what you think. I’m interested in hearing feedback on any part of the process.
Be well people,
